Gabriel Paulista’s agent has arrived in Spain as he tries for push through a deal to Arsenal for the defender.
Gabriel, who is currently playing for Villareal, looks to be moving to the Emirates for a fee in the region £15 million.
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, admitted this week that he was confident of doing more business following the arrival of holding midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.
A fee looks to have been agreed between the La Liga and Premier League side, now the centre-half’s agent is looking to finalise the personal terms.
The 24-year old Brazilian has helped Villareal to concede only 17 goals this season, the joint third lowest in La Liga.
