Newly appointed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen to bring £27million rated Pedro to the Etihad Stadium.
The Spain international made the move to Stamford Bridge just last summer but had a dismal debut season with the west London outfit, However, he did finish up with seven goals in 27 Premier League appearances for the Blues.
And now according to Emanuele Guilianelli, Pep is prepared to pay the £27million transfer fee to get a reunion happening with Pedro in time for the 2016/17 season.
The Italian journalist, who has worked with Tribal Football, FourFourTwo and also Gazzetta dello Sport amongst many others, wrote on Twitter ; “Manchester City ready to take Pedro from Chelsea for about €35mln.”
the 28-year-old has revealed he’s already held talks with former club Barcelona about a possible return to the Nou Camp but admitted it would be ‘almost impossible‘.
This has apparently put Pep on high alert and is on the verge of making this happen, but until then we will have to wait and see.
