Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will have raised alarm bells among some of the Spurs faithful after indicating that he hasn’t starting thinking about bringing in reinforcements.
In his post-match press conference, Pochettino told journalists that he was happy with his squad and would review the situation with the board after his team’s meeting with Chelsea on New Year’s Day.
With Spurs linked to big names like Porto’s Jackson Martinez and their endless pursuit of Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin, fans will be left wondering if any of this will materialise at all.
Only time will tell, but it is seemingly clear that any business Spurs do will be later on in the window unless something happens quickly.
