Highly anticipated clash begins City’s campaign in Group D

Manchester City have made an electric start to the season and will be hoping they can take that form into the Champions League when they entertain Serie A champions Juventus at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

Juventus have endured a difficult start to their Serie A campaign with one draw and two defeats from their first three games and some of their fans are citing the loss of influential players Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo who moved to America and Argentina respectively.

On the other hand, Manchester City have won all fiv of their games and have yet to concede a goal and are looking in formidable form with the likes of Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany looking back to their best but they will have to win without talisman Sergio Aguero.

Team News

Manchester City will be without key striker Aguero after he picked up an injury against Crystal Palace and Fabian Delph will also be unavailable after he got injured while on international duty. Samir Nasri is also doubtful.

Juventus are looking to get their first win of the season but will have to do it without the services of midfield trio Sami Khedira, Claudio Marchisio and Kwadwo Asamoah. New signings Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Hernanes could all start.
