Man Utd begin their Group B campaign against the Eredivisie champions

After comfortably dispatching of Club Brugge in the play-off, Man Utd begin their return to the Champions League after a one year absence against Dutch champions PSV.

A lot of the focus on this match tonight will be on Memphis Depay who returns to his former club after leaving PSV to join Man Utd in the summer for a fee of £24.6 million.

Both sides will go into the match with a lot from confidence after Man Utd beat Liverpool 3-1 on Saturday with Anthony Martial scoring a great solo effort on his debut while PSV thrashed SC Cambur 6-0 on Saturday to keep up their unbeaten start to the season.

Team News

Manchester United will be without defender Phil Jones again as he has mild thrombosis and also captain Wayne Rooney who has a hamstring injury. Apart from that Louis Van Gaal has a fully fit squad to choose from with Anthony Martial pushing for his first start for Man Utd.

PSV will be without left back Jetro Willems and winger Florian Jozefzoon who both have knee injuries. Luuk De Jong who scored a hat trick on Saturday is likely to play as the lone striker.
