French champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to test Chelsea’s resolve by offering them £68million for star Eden Hazard.
Laurent Blanc has been a long-term admirer of the Belgium’s and has spoken highly of him ever since the two sides met in the Champions League Quarter Finals.
Despite Financial Fair Play coming into action next year, PSG haven’t stopped their spending habits, after paying nearly £50m for Brazilian David Luiz from Stamford Bridge, they are now preparing a £68m bid for his team-mate.
With the interest from PSG ramping up, Chelsea are keen to pen the Belgium to a new deal, and have also given him a new kit number for the new season, swapping him from 17, to number 10.
However, talks have stalled recently and Blanc’s men are aware of that and are now considering one final mega-offer to persuade the Premier League side to sell-up.
