Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires hopes to remain at Chelsea for a long period of time, reports the Daily Express.
The versatile centre midfielder made his 200th appearance in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester City, a result which keeps Chelsea in top spot.
Ramires, aged 27 signed for the West-London club in 2010 for a £20 million fee from Portuguese Benfica, and stated his desire to remain at the club for the long haul, having signed a new five year deal in 2012.
“I am very proud to have completed these 200 games for Chelsea.
“It’s a huge honour to be one of the players in the current squad that have worn the shirt the most times.
“I hope to be at Chelsea for much longer and to achieve other important milestones in the future of the club.”
