Chelsea are refusing to print the names of Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois as the futures of the Belgian duo are up in the air. When Starsport contacted the official Chelsea megastore and asked for a goal keeper kit donning Courtois on the back the response that was given was, ‘We’re not printing Courtois shirts because he is yet to be given a squad number.’

The same response was given when the sports side of The Daily Star asked for a shirt with Lukaku on the back of it. These refusalls have fuelled rumuors that the pair are set for time away from Chelsea, whether that be permanently or on a season long loan deal remains to be seen.

Courtios has spent three extremely succesful loan spells at Atletico Madrid were he helped them to the La Liga title and also second place in the Champions League behind city rivals Real Madrid. Lukaku has spent to loan stints since joining Chelsea, at West Brom and Everton respectively. Lukaku impressed on loan with both sides and as seen with West Brom, Everton will find it hard to replace the forwards goals and also threat upfront.

Courtios and Lukaku will be fighting for first team places, with Petr Cech being the number one at the Bridge for a number of years and the arrivals of Didier Drogba and Diego Costa both players could be surplus to requirements for the next season.
