Rodney Marsh has predicted Raheem Sterling to leave Liverpool within two years.

Sterling, aged 19 has enjoyed a fine year for both Liverpool and England, with the winger still yet to pen a new deal at Anfield.

Folowing the personal success of a maiden World Cup campaign in Brazil, and helping Liverpool back into the Champions League for the first time in five years, Sterling has been linked with Spanish side Real Madrid.

Controversial pundit Marsh believes that Sterling will leave Anfield for pastures new in the coming years.

“I know I am going to get pelted by Liverpool supporters but I don’t see Raheem Sterling being a Liverpool player in the next two years,” the ex-England international told talkSPORT.

“I think he will leave Liverpool and go to a really top club.

“I think Sterling is so good, and if he is playing with the right players, at the right level, he could go on to be a top, super player.”
