Chelsea lost their third game of the season on Saturday at the hands of Everton
The Chelsea boss is certainly starting to feel the pressure, directing a vulgar barb to counterpart Roberto Martinez.
Things haven’t been panning out well so far this season for Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. His side’s bid to defend their title hasn’t kicked-off as well as hoped, with the Portuguese’s team losing three of their first five games this Premier League campaign.
Results haven’t been the only worry, as there have now been claims of personal conflicts between players at training, forcing a ban of banter and jokes among the Chelsea players.
Abramovich backs under-fire Mourinho
However, Roman Abramovich has publicly supported Mourinho and is appearing relaxed about the situation. Abramovich has reportedly promised the Chelsea boss funds to strengthen his squad in January.
It is believed Mourinho’s New Year priority will be to acquire a top-class holding midfielder to cover for the defense amid the cracks shown by his back line that has already let in 10 goals this term.
