Real Madrid star Eden Hazard joined the club last summer.
He made a lavish transfer worth almost £145 million from Chelsea, that made him the most expensive buy by the Galacticos. However, almost 17 months down the line, Hazard has failed to make an impact.
His first season, he missed over 26 games due to injury and this season he has failed to make an appearance yet. Scoring 1 single goal in that entire time has not helped his cause.
Hazard has so far also missed out on all the El Clasicos as well – the biggest match in Real Madrid’s calendar season. The Belgian has also reportedly been ruled out of the upcoming El Clasico as well.
Hazard had not only been dealing with general fitness issues but also needs more recovery time to come clean on his recurring injuries. It is a plan that has been given the green light by their boss Zinedine Zidane.
It would obviously be a let down to Real Madrid fans who have not seen Hazard been at his best for the longest time now and watching him miss out on the El Clasico will only add to that disappointment.
