Spurs want them to play in their Premier League encounter against Newcastle United

Tottenham are in talks with Argentina, Brazil and Colombia over the release of their South American players. The North London club is making a focus to convince the South American nations to release their players early from international duty next week.

Argentina’s Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero, Colombia’s Davinson Sanchez, and Brazil’s Emerson Royal are among the players in question.

According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham are hoping for an early release. It would allow their players to come back to the UK and complete the quarantine. Spurs wants them to play in their Premier League encounter against Newcastle United on October 17. If they agree on the player release, all players will miss the last of their nation’s World Cup Qualifiers.
