Midfielder is missing life on Merseyside
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard could be set to make a dramatic return to Anfield just months after leaving the club, according to reports.
Gerrard left his boyhood club over the summer after agreeing to join MLS side LA Galaxy, but according to reports, the midfielder is missing life on Merseyside and wants to move back to England already.
According to The Independent, Gerrard is in talks with Jurgen Klopp about potentially returning to the club after seeing out the MLS season with LA.
Return to Anfield
It’s believed Gerrard will return just to train with the squad in order to keep fit, but a brief loan-spell could be a possibility, similar to what Thierry Henry did at Arsenal a few years ago.
Having the 35-year-old around the camp could be a great boost for Klopp and the club.
