Swansea v. Liverpool Preview

A win for Liverpool would not only take them to the top of the table, it would be also be the club’s 400th victory since Premier League started, and their best start since 1990. Daniel Sturridge has scored in all three 1-0 victories, but missed England’s World Cup qualifiers due to a lingering thigh injury. Despite this he will likely be fit to play tonight. Victor Moses has joined Liverpool on loan from Chelsea and the Nigerigan winger might make his debut tonight. Lois Suarez still has two matches left on his suspension.

Michael Laudrup’s Swansea has had a tough start, but won against West Brom away in their last fixture. The Welsh team has done better in Europe though, after an impressive qualification campain they will face Valencia away on Thursday in their first group stage match in Europa Leauge. Swansea has a busy schedule ahead of them, but Laudrup will likely field the strongest possible squad at Liberty Stadium.

The Reds hasn’t won at Swansea since 1982, but we believe Liverpool will win tonight. Last season they beat Swansea 5-0 at Anfield, and we expekt Sturridge to continue his fine form after a few weeks rest. Another 1-0 victory for Liverpool.
