Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has hinted that he could be in line to make another return to North London after claiming on Tuesday it’s a wish he has.
The 37-year-old announced earlier in the week that he will be leaving New York Red Bulls after four years there and at the end of the statement he revealed that he intends to wait a few weeks before deciding his next step in his career.
Some believe that was the last game Henry will play as a professional footballer, with most suggesting a coaching role at the Emirates Stadium, but when the Frenchman was questioned about his next step, he admitted that it’s a wish of his to return to the club he loves.
Henry said: ‘It’s a wish, but I cannot tell if it will happen.’
Then eyes turned to Arsene Wenger’s press conference, and when he was asked about Henry’s future, he stated: ‘Christmas is coming, we’ll see.’
It seems that Henry’s days with Arsenal could be just beginning!
