Fernando Peyroteo was a Portuguese professional footballer who played as a striker for Sporting CP and the Portuguese national team. The Portuguese only played for one club his entire career scoring 544 goals in all games he played. He won eleven major titles and was named the top scorer for his country on six occasions.
The Portuguese had the highest goal per game ratio of 1.68 which was the highest compared to Brazilian veteran Pele of 0.96.
