A return to the Premier League will always remain on the cards for Gareth Bale. The 30-year-old hails from Great Britain and steadily approaching the twilight of his career, a move to his homeland is always possible.
While Tottenham have been linked with a move for the Welshman, Merseyside could also be a fine option for him to consider. Liverpool clinched the Champions League last season and missed out on the league by just a point. There’s no doubt the club is finally on yhe way to recapturing its old glories. Bale could definitely have a great chance of winning the Premier League should he don the maroon jersey.
Signing Bale would also prove to be a coup for Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp has one of the best right wingers in Mohammed Salah, but Bale’s addition could increase the squad depth. The German gaffer has already complained about the fixture list as the Merseysiders gear up to participate in 7 competitions this season.
In that sense, the Welshman could give them the much-required squad depth required to compete equally well on all fronts.
