2) Roberto Soldado

Fourth on the list is one which Spurs fans deep down will be sad to see, as a lot of expectation was put on the shoulders of Roberto Soldado following his ÂŁ28 million move from Valencia two summers ago.

He was brought in to try and fill the goalscoring boots of Gareth Bale after the Welshman left for Real Madrid. However, Soldado has been unable to replicate his form which saw him playing for the Spanish national team as well as scoring a bucket full of goals, firstly for Getafe and then for Valencia.

Soldado relies on service from wide for the majority of his goals, and with Spurs playing inverted wingers on the majority of occasions since his arrival at the Lane, the Spaniard is unable to feed off of crosses and pull-backs which accounted to so many of his goals in La Liga.

Galatasaray were linked with him earlier this summer, however their interest has recently cooled.

With Harry Kane the undisputed main striker now at Spurs, Soldado would again be a bit part player should he remain there next season with the club also looking to add another striker to their ranks this summer.
