Wayne Rooney scored a stunning long range goal against the same opponents West Ham for Manchester United back in 2014. But it was just inside the opponent’s half so it didn’t make the list. However, his strike for Everton this week was even better. The ball fell to Rooney with Joe Hart out of his goal, and the former England international drilled the ball first time into the empty net from long distance. The technique on this one was just incredible, and capped a hat-trick for Rooney in a 4-0 win.
