United plan Pogba swoop next summer

According to French reports, Juventus are looking to sign a new deal with Pogba but would rather sell him next summer than wait until 2016 when he can leave the club on a free transfer.

The Turin initially began contract talks with the Frenchman earlier this summer and are looking to officially finalise the deal, with a substantial pay rise included in the package.

Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta made the statement while discussing Pogba’s future with the club: “Pogba? We have had some negotiation with his agents, we hope to arrive at a positive conclusion shortly.”

However if the two parties cannot come to an agreement then Manchester United will be ready to swoop in and take the midfielder back to Old Trafford.

They are likely to not be alone in the race to sign him though, with Chelsea and Real Madrid showing they are not afraid to spend money during the summer, and the ÂŁ60m rated man will likely be in their sights.

Pogba was part of the United youth team back in 2009 but struggled to break through into the first team under Sir Alex Ferguson.

After growing frustrated with his apparent lack of opportunities with the Red Devils, he made a move to Serie A giants Juventus, where has become one of the most highly sought after youngsters in world football.
