Manchester United will not be slowing down in the transfer market in January, as the club intend to carry on buying more players.
It is understood that United have been allocated another £50 million pounds to spend in the next window to sign more players in the wake of this summers £150 million+ spending spree.
Boss Louis Van Gaal has not given up hope of signing long-term targets Arturo Vidal, Mats Hummels and Sami Khedira with Roma’s Kevin Strootman also a likely arrival in January.
However, it is said that the Dutch boss is willing to let one of his star names leave, in order to allow his expected arrivals a regular starting place.
Spanish playmaker Juan Mata is expected to depart once the window reopens, with the club ready to listen to offers worth at least £20 million.
Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Roma are all in the market for the mercurial Spaniard, who was signed from Chelsea last January for £37 million pounds.
