Premier League heavy weights Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham were all reportedly keeping tabs on Bony, and they could renew their interest in January.
The Ivorian enjoyed a fantastic debut season in England’s top-flight last term, finishing as the club’s top scorer with 26 in all competitions.
But Bony, 25, insists he is only focussing on performing for the south Wales outfit, despite considering his future during the summer.
“Now it’s over,” he said of the transfer speculation. “Before we were talking, but now it’s over so I have to focus on the team.
“There were some chances (that I might leave). I waited and nothing happened so now I am just focused on the team.
“My head is okay. I just want to repeat or do better than last season.”
