Chelsea preparing £100k-a-week deal for star-man
Chelsea are set to begin formal talks with Willian regarding a new deal which could see his weekly-wage rise to £100k-a-week.
The Brazilian midfielder has been Chelsea‘s best player so far this season and has turned into a set-piece specialist, scoring several of his goals from dead-ball situations.
With the rest of the Blues players struggling for form, Willian has really carried Jose Mourinho‘s side throughout the majority of the campaign and officials at Stamford Bridge are now ready to reward him for his recent displays.
Contract Talks
The 27-year-old is currently earning around £70k-a-week, but this deal could see his weekly wage rise to £100k, making him one of the club’s highest paid players.
Willian’s current deal expires in 2018, but Chelsea officials want to add a further two years onto that which will see him remain at the club until 2020.
