The departure of Sergio Busquets was a hot topic near the end of the 2022–23 campaign. So Barcelona decided to sign Ilkay Gundogan who won five Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy with Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

The England midfielder made his move to Santiago Bernabeu and became the highest-profile signing this summer. The teenage midfielder signed a six-year contract and Borussia Dortmund was paid €103 million for his services.
Bellingham is set to earn €400,577-a-week and bag home €120million in wages in total in the next six years. Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool held an interest in the Englishman but Bellingham ultimately decided to play for Real Madrid.

7. Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid) – €400,577: Highest paid players in La Liga
Jan Oblak, who had developed into one of the top goalkeepers in Europe while at Atletico Madrid, signed a contract extension last summer that runs out in 2028.
The Slovenian shot-stopper has made 394 appearances for Atlético since joining from Benfica in 2014 for €16 million. His positioning and decision-making help him avoid making spectacular saves and this is partly why he often gets overlooked as the best goalkeeper in the world.

The talented winger made his move to the most illustrious club in Europe in 2018 and the rest is history. Junior has grown leaps and bounds to become one of the best players in the world.
He earns a whopping €20 million per year with the Galacticos and is the fourth-highest earner at Real Madrid at present. He also has an astonishing release clause of £858 million.
