5. Maynor Figueroa (Wigan vs. Stoke City, 2009)

Maynor Figueroa’s quick thinking saw him win the Premier League Goal Of The Season award for 2009/10. The Honduran defender saw Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen off his line after Wigan were awarded a free-kick just behind the halfway line, and hit it first time straight into the top corner.
