The Signal Iduna Park stadium, home of one of the best performing clubs in the Bundesliga (Borussia Dortmund) is an 83,000 seater stadium located in Dortmund of Germany. The initial name of the stadium was Westfalenstadion but was later renamed in 2005 to Signal Iduna Park under a sponsorship arrangement valid for 16 years.
The majors hosted in this stadium were the 1974 and 2006 FIFA World Cup as well as the 2001 UEFA Cup Final when Liverpool won the Cup after beating Deportivo Alaves of Spain.
