Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has dealt Manchester United a huge transfer blow by revealing his intentions to stay in Italy.

The Chilean international has been monitored and wanted by United all Summer, and despite serious interest in the midfielder, The Red Devils failed to make an offer which met Juve’s valuation.

The 27-year-old has been dominating headlines regarding a potential move to Old Trafford, but he has been quoted as saying that he wants to stay in Italy, and more importantly, stay with Juventus.

Vidal said: “At this point I do not go away, I stay at Juventus.”

Throughout the transfer window, United have reportedly made three offers for the Chilean, including player-swap deals, but as of yet, all bids have been turned down and all speculation has been dismissed by Juventus.

According to reports in Italy, Vidal has officially told his friends that he wants to remain at Juve and snub any move to Manchester United.
