Ousmane Dembele is being touted to leave Barcelona this summer after failing to live up to the club’s expectations. The Frenchman was bought in 2017 to fill the giant hole left by Neymar, who swapped the Catalans for Paris Saint Germain.
Liverpool and Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with making moves for the attacker, but he intends to spurn their advances and stay put at the Nou Camp.
According to German newspaper Bild, Dembele has zero interest in joining Bayern Munich this summer. The Bavarians are looking to replace Arjen Robben and have marked Leroy Sane as their primary target. However, Bayern CEO Karl Heinz Rumminegge is keen to work on a deal for Dembele as a backup plan to Sane.
The Catalans are, however, keen to offload the 22-year-old, given their attempts to bring back Neymar. In that sense, either or both Dembele and Coutinho will have to quit the club.
Onda Cera, a Spanish radio station in Barcelona, have claimed that the asking price for the Frenchman has dropped to €100m from €125m.
