Everton have had a strong interest in the Red Devils man
Everton and Man United have agreed on a £22m fee to send Morgan Schneiderlin to Goodison Park.
As reported earlier today by us at SS, Everton have been eager to sign the midfielder and it appears they have now finally managed to agree on a fee for him.
The Toffees have already had a bid turned down for the former Southampton man but they’ve tabled another slightly bigger bid of £22m which has been accepted this time.
Add-ons take fee to £24m
There are also several add-ons included as part of the deal which could make the fee rise to £24m, meaning that Man United would get the amount of money that they asked for.
Man United have openly claimed that they would be willing to let Schneiderlin leave this month due to the fact he is no longer required at the club.
Several other players are above him in the pecking order, meaning he doesn’t get to feature much for the Red Devils.
Ronald Koeman is a huge admirer of the Frenchman and worked with the 27-year old at Southampton before he moved to Man United.
Now they could be set for a reunion at Everton, once the player completes a medical and agrees all of his terms.
