Donny van de Beek inching closer to Eintracht Frankfurt move.
The Dutch midfielder has struggled for game time since his arrival at Old Trafford in the summer of 2020.
Van de Beek fell down the pecking order following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat this summer.
He came close to joining Real Sociedad in the summer but the two clubs couldn’t come to an agreement.
Van de Beek has clocked only 21 minutes so far this campaign and is seemingly unhappy with his limited opportunities.
The former Ajax midfielder is keen to revive his career after a difficult spell at Old Trafford and is likely to leave on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt in the January transfer window.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the midfielder is getting closer to joining Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan deal.
“We start today’s column with some important news on Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek. He’s going to leave United, as I told you a long time ago, and now things are at an advanced stage for him to move on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt,” Romano said.
“Girona are also interested in Van de Beek, but he’s aware of the Eintracht Frankfurt interest, and things are progressing on that front.”
