Premier League target William Carvalho has hinted at a potential move away from Sporting Lisbon.
Reports suggest that Carvalho was set for a move to a Premier League side, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all keen on his signature.
The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has a £37 million release clause in his current deal, which Sporting are keen to increase.
However, despite recently putting pen to paper on a new deal at the Portuguese club, Carvalho recently admitted he would be open to a move to either England or Spain.
“We all have ambitions and I hope one day to play in the best leagues in the world, the English or Spanish,” he told the Portuguese Association‘s magazine.
“It was not this year, but if I continue to do my job as I have done so, it will certainly come sooner or later.”
