Manchester City and Manchester United are both said to be interested in signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has played 32 times for Lazio so far this season. He has bagged 7 league goals, contributing to the club’s comfortable 4th position in Italy this season.
Milinkovic-Savic has a contract until 2020, but it’s believed that the club would consider selling him for the right price.
Jose Mourinho has made it no secret that he wants to sign another midfielder this summer as well, especially with Michael Carrick’s looming retirement.
And while he is interested in joining Manchester United, Pep Guardiola is also thought to be keen on landing his signature as he aims to bolster his side’s attacking depth.
According to The Daily Record, Pep and Mourinho are set to battle it out for the 22-year-old this summer.
