Reports have emerged claiming striker is unsettled in England

According to reports in Spain, Chelsea striker Diego Costa is unsettled in England and wants a swift return to Spain and Atletico Madrid.

The Spaniard completed a Summer move from Atletico to Chelsea last year in a deal worth around ÂŁ32million, but according to Marca, Costa has failed to settle in London and wants a swift return to Madrid.

Costa’s Future Uncertain

On the pitch Costa had a superb campaign for The Blues, netting 20-goals for Jose Mourinho‘s title-winning team, but all is not well off the field.

Marca are claiming that Costa is desperate to return to Spain and has already contacted his former club about a potential move back over the Summer.

It’s stated that the striker is even willing to take a pay-cut in order to make the quick move back to La Liga and back to Diego Simeone‘s side.

Luis Also Homesick

Not only Costa is unhappy after leaving Madrid, it’s also been reported that Filipe Luis wants a move back as well after he’s failed to break into Mourinho’s first-team.

The duo both left over the Summer, but are both already considering their futures being away from Stamford Bridge.

According to the Spanish reports, Costa has no issues with Chelsea or Mourinho, but simply doesn’t like England and cannot adapt to the lifestyle, which has made him desperate for a Spanish return.

However, the striker is contracted at the club until 2019, making a deal all-but impossible for now.
