Kylian Mbappe could join Real Madrid next summer and for free!

The 22-year old forward has been linked with Los Blancos for the past two summers now and it looks the transfer would be made official by the end of this season.

Mbappe’s current contract with PSG expires in the summer of 2020 and he would be allowed to speak to other teams and sign a pre-contractual agreement.

France legend Theirry Henry believes that PSG could have done more to persuade Mbappe to extend his stay at the French capital.

Henry explained: “It should have been settled two years ago.

“I think that if two years ago, they had sat down with Mbappe to tell him: ‘this will be your team, we’re gonna build this team around you, you’re gonna be the boss.’

“But now he really has his destiny in his hands. He will be able to sign wherever he wants.”

When Florentino Perez talked about Mbappe making a deal with Real Madrid in January, it raised sparks in the PSG hierarchy.

The club said: “This new departure is situated in the lack of respect towards PSG and towards Mbappe.

“Florentino had already spoken to his Mbappe fans this week. I repeat: it is a lack of respect that we cannot tolerate.”
