Radamel Falcao rejected offers from Premier League trio in order to seal a move to Manchester United on deadline day.
In a recent interview, Falcao’s father has revealed that his son rejected approaches from Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool before Manchester United signed the striker.
‘Manchester United is the most important team in England and one of the most powerful financially,’ he said.
‘Now he [Falcao] must perform at his best to continue winning.
‘Fortunately he has adapted to European football and in the teams where he has been in Argentina it was easily done too.
‘Juventus, Manchester City, Liverpool also approached him and Arsenal at the last minute.
‘Fortunately, he ended up at Manchester United, a great team that he has to lead forward.’
