4. Julen Lopetegui, Spain – €3 million
If you train Spain’s national team you will have a good salary. But, Mr. Lopetegui was sacked just two days before the tournament even started. This was due to the fact that he had already accepted a job offer to manage Real Madrid after the World Cup ended. Unfortunately, Lopetegui did not tell the Spanish federation who hired him that he had taken the job! They only found out just minutes before he announced it. It’s not certain yet whether he will still receive his salary now that he has been sacked.
3. Didier Deschamps, France – €3.5 million
The French coach, Dieder Deschamps, took France to the final in Euro 2016, but ended up losing to Portugal. Now the question is what he can achieve for France (7.50), France’s World Cup squad 2018 is one of the favorites to win the tournament.
