Alli, who has been dubbed “the new Gerrard” is thought to be one if the most promising youngsters in English football, so much so that Liverpool have been after his signature for the past two transfer windows.
But now reported have emerged that the Reds have agreed an £8m fee to sign the 18 year-old, with the deal thought to be announced official on January 1st.
Alli is expected to return to MK Dons on loan for the rest of the season but Brenden Rodgers will be pleased to have the teenager in the side.
Alli signed a new contract with the League One outfit last month but admitted that a move away was “inevitable”.
