Premier League side want to sign Paris Saint-Germain star
Manchester United are preparing to hold formal talks with Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.
The Swedish striker is reportedly unhappy with life in Paris and is ready to leave the club for one more challenge in his career before retiring.
It’s believed the Premier League could be a real possibility for Ibrahimovic as he is yet to test himself out in England, winning titles in Italy, Spain and France.
United’s Problems
As for United, they are having real issues scoring goals, with both Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial struggling in recent weeks to find the back of the net, something Ibrahimovic has no problems with.
Louis van Gaal has always stated he is building a United team for the future, but with the chance to sign the PSG star a real possibility, he may make one big move for the Swede.
Despite being 34-years-old, Ibrahimovic hasn’t lost his scoring touch, netting 12 goals in Ligue 1 already, and according to reports, Van Gaal could be ready to make a bid.
United are set to contact the striker and the Ligue 1 champions in order to discuss a potential move to Old Trafford.
