Swansea City striker Michu is on the verge of signing for Napoli, after passing a medical at the Italian Serie A club.
The 28 year old’s transfer looks set to be agreed in the coming hours, following Swansea’s signing of Bafetimbi Gomis on a free transfer from French side Lyon.
Michu enjoyed a fine first season in the Premier League, and scored 18 goals in his first season in South Wales for the Swans, having signed from Spanish sideRayo Vallecano in the summer of 2012.
His form in front of goal prompted interest from Arsenal, however, Swansea rejected a £10 million bid for the Spanish striker.
However, his second season at Swansea was plauged by injuries, with Michu scoring two goals in 17 games.
