Chelsea’s Oscar has admitted he wants to remain at Stamford Bridge next season

The 23-year-old has insisted he wants to score more goals and win more trophies with Chelsea next season.

The Brazil international struggled to put his stamp on the first team last season, but still managed six goals and eight assists.

And the South American attacker has moved quickly to rubbish claims he is on the verge of a £20million move to Juventus.

Player’s comments

“This is the first time I have started pre-season and for me this is very, very important. It is important to stay with the family and friends.

“The full holiday for me is very important because for five years I didn’t have that holiday, and in the last three years I played more than 200 games.

“I want to play better and I want to score more goals and to play my best football, because I know my quality.

“I know for sure I can make this season better than last season, and last season was a good season because we were champions and won two competitions.

“I want to be champion in more competitions this season. In three years I have scored a lot of beautiful goals and I will try to score more” said Oscar.

Juventus interest

The Turin club have identified the Chelsea midfielder as the ideal replacement for Arturo Vidal who is likely heading for the exit this summer.

Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with the Chile international and were reported to have agreed a £28million deal but they have since refuted those claims.
