Paul Pogba reportedly celebrated Jose Mourinho’s departure from Manchester United.

The manager was sacked by the club after a string of disappointing results that the club faced under his tutelage.

French superstar Paul Pogba reportedly celebrated the departure of Jose Mourinho from Manchester United. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager was unable to pull the Red Devils out of their recent miseries as the club faced their worst start in the Premier League this season under his tutelage. The Portuguese mastermind did not have a very good relationship with Pogba and given his star status, had confined him to a bits and pieces role in the Manchester United squad.

As per the Mirror, the Frenchman was ecstatic after he reached the Carrington Road training ground on Tuesday morning. He was heard shouting abusive language as well as he said, “He (Mourinho) f***** with the wrong baller”. He also said, “He thought he could make a fool of me and turn the fans against me.” The player, however, was reminded by Michael Carrick, who was a part of Mourinho’s coaching staff at Old Trafford, about the fact that no player is bigger than the club.

One of the biggest problems that Manchester United had to endure with during Mourinho’s tenure was his inability to bring the best out of Paul Pogba. The player, who won the World Cup with France earlier this year, was unable to thrive under the Portuguese manager and was left unused on the bench on a number of occasions throughout the season so far.
