Cech says Jose Mourinho’s men must win all their remaining games to pip Liverpool and Manchester City to the title, said: ‘Nobody expected anything from Liverpool this season and they’re in contention it’s why they’ve been able to play without pressure so far.
‘But let’s see how they will cope when it comes to the last hurdle. They will have to jump over it. They have been doing remarkably well, but we are still around.’
The Chelsea goalkeeper says Chelsea need to raise their own game after making hard work of their 1-0 win over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
However, in capitalising on City’s defeat on the same day at Liverpool, they are only two points off the lead.
‘Obviously we have to wait for one slip-up from City but if we win our games we have a chance,’ added Cech. ‘We have players who are used to playing big games.
‘We have just four games to play now and if we win all of our matches, then we will be there right to the end. We will try to win them all and then we’ll see where we’ll be.’
