September 2014 – Graziano Pellè – Southampton
Winning September’s Player of the Month award was yet another new face to the Premier League.
Graziano Pelle joined Southampton from Feyenoord and was another striker to settle in just fine in England, helping Ronald Koeman’s team end the season seventh, despite the club losing a lot of key players over the Summer break.
During the month of September, Pelle netted three goals, two in the 4-0 win over Newcastle United and an acrobatic winner against Queens Park Rangers.
