Atletico Madrid have received a £20million bid for attacking midfielder Arda Turan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Turkey international’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, confirmed in February that his client wants a move away from the Spanish capital in the summer transfer window.
Bulut told Mundo Deportivo: “At the end of the season Arda Turan will be 28, it is the right time for a transfer.”
The words of the representative let pursuers Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United know about his availability.
The Premier League trio are all chasing the 28-year-old’s signature and want to make it a done deal before they go away on pre-season tours.
However, French giants PSG have made the first move for the former Galatasaray star.
Well-known reports in France claim that the Ligue 1 champions put a £20million transfer bid in this week for the 5’9 playmaker as they have now moved their focus away from Red Devils ace Angel Di Maria.
Turan, who scored three goals and grabbed six assists last campaign, moved to the Spanish giants four years ago from Turkish side Galatasaray for £11million.
