2) Thierry Henry – Arsenal
Thierry Henry was an absolute God for Arsenal, another member of the 2004 ‘Invincibles’ team and one of the most famous faces to make it out of the Premier League. He scored 174 goals in 254 appearances (their record goalscorer) and only failed to win the Champions League while at Arsenal (which he later on at Barcelona in 2009). He’s also the French National team record goalscorer too, and scored some incredible goals in an Arsenal shirt.
2) Alan Shearer – Blackburn Rovers/Newcastle United
Alan Shearer is Newcastle’s and the Premier League’s all-time top goalscorer. He arrived at Blackburn from Southampton in 1992 for ÂŁ3.6million. This is where his success story began, as the Blackburn team, managed by Kenny Dalglish, famously won the league title in 1996 and lifted it at Anfield. Later that year, Shearer became the world’s most expensive player at the time when he moved to Newcastle for ÂŁ15million. He scored countless goals and eventually became remembered for his ‘hand in the air’ celebration.
