The market value of some of Europe’s biggest name players has rocketed since last summer. Here we look at the Top 10 footballer market value increases in the last six months.

New CIES data has come out ranking the top 10 footballer market value increases since last summer.

It seems a long time since we considered Cristiano Ronaldo’s world-record £75 million move to Real Madrid as a mind-boggling transfer; especially after Paul Pogba’s £89 million move to Manchester United two seasons ago. Now we will look at the Top 10 footballer market value increases over the last six months. Are you interested in which footballer’s market value has risen the most? And while some footballer’s fees have blown many football fans’ minds, it’s not just the world’s most elite footballers whose values have rocketed in recent years. In the past year alone, some of the Premier League’s best talents have seen their market value rise significantly.

10) Florian Thauvin- Price rise of £34.1m

The 25-year-old winger from Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille has been in fine form this season after scoring 16 goals and made 10 assists in 28 appearances. The former Newcastle United player has been linked with a return to the Premier League but has spent the last three seasons at Marseille. Last season, he scored 15 goals and made eight assists in 38 appearances in the Ligue One.

His value rose by £34.1million over the past six months and he is now valued at £73 million.

9)Sergej Milinkovic-Savic- Price rise of £36.2million

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been a hot prospect in the last few months after being linked with clubs such as Manchester United. The Lazio midfielder has been in excellent form and is one of the best central midfielders in the world at the moment.

Milinkovic-Savic is now on the Top Ten Premier League player market value increases list after seeing a value increase of £36.2million taking his total market value to £62.5million.

8) Davinson Sanchez-Price rise of £37.5million

The Tottenham defender has fit in nicely at Spurs in the centre of defence and is now one of Europe’s top defenders. He showed his class recently in the Champions League against Juventus. And now his price has risen dramatically by £37.5million taking his total market transfer value to £68.8million.

7) Paulinho-Price rise of £37.7million

Paulinho has been in good form ever since he made the surprise move to Barcelona from the Chinese Super League last summer. But the former Tottenham flop has proven himself at Barcelona and subsequently his market value has increased. Paulinho’s transfer value has risen by £37.7million taking his total transfer market value to £46.5million.

6) Joe Gomez-Price rise of £42.9million

Joe Gomez has really proved that he has the potential to go on to be a big feature for England over the coming years, after earning a starting spot in the Liverpool defence this season.

And while he’s only 20-years-old, his value has been significantly boosted in the past 6 months, by £42.9million. This takes his total transfer market value to £50.8million.

5) Gabriel Jesus-Price rise of £47.2million

It’s hardly surprising that Gabriel Jesus’s value has rocketed in the past 6 months. The Brazilian international has gone on to almost displace Sergio Aguero as the number one striker for Manchester City-No easy feat.

The strikers value has risen by £47.2million taking his total transfer market value to £93.9million.

4) Kylian Mbappe-Price rise of £48.6million

The 19-year-old is already one of the best strikers’ in Europe and he’s not even an adult yet. The French International made a stunning £160 million transfer to PSG last summer from Monaco.

Kylian Mbappe’s market value has gone through the roof and has risen by £48.6million taking his total transfer market value to £167.1million. Not bad for a teenager. 

3) Leroy Sane-Price rise of £56 million

The German winger has been in superb form for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. He is one of the hottest prospects in Europe at the age of 22-years-old.

Leroy Sane’s transfer market value has risen by £56 million, which is not surprising given his achievements in recent years. His total transfer market value is now at £134 million. 

2) Ederson-Price rise of £66.1million

The new Manchester City goalkeeper has made a huge difference for Manchester City’s defensive record this season. And while he’s the second most expensive goalkeeper of all time– he’s proven a bargain for Pep Guardiola considering the difference he’s made.

The Brazil international is good with the ball, has superb cat-like reflexes and is fast.

Ederson’s transfer market value has risen by £66.1million taking his total transfer value to £87.5million. 

1) Mohamed Salah-Price rise of £66.4million

The bargain of the summer for Liverpool after their purchase of Mohamed Salah from Roma for £30 million. Salah has on to become on of the best- if not the best- player’s in the Premier League this season. The Egyptian has scored an amazing 24 goals for Liverpool in the Premier League and he’s not even a striker. He is now the joint-leading goalscorer in the Premier League right now.

And now, Mohamed Salah’s transfer market value has risen by £66.4million, over the last six months. And he is now valued at a total of £144.3million.  That’s not too bad for a 25-year-old.
