6. Xisco- Newcastle United

Xisco is one of the Top 10 Worst Premier League Players in History

In sixth is Spanish player Xisco who is currently playing for Mallorca on loan from Cordoba. At the age of 21, Xisco joined Newcastle from Deportivo La Coruna for a fee of  £5.7 million, a fee which could have seen risen to £7 million according to the agreement. The player was so horrible on the pitch as he found himself seventh choice to  Michael Owen, Obafemi Martins, Mark Viduka, Peter Løvenkrands, Shola Ameobi and Andy Carroll. The club tried to get rid of him but couldn’t work because of FIFA rules that a player cannot play for three different clubs in the year, Newcastle was later relegated from the Premier League and were stuck with the Spanish international for five more years.

The player only managed to make just nine games and managed to write his name into the Newcastle record books by scoring a goal before finallly moving back to Spain.
