5. Nick Pope – Burnley, 10 Clean Sheets

In fifth place on the Top 5 Goalkeepers With The Most Clean Sheets this season is the current Burnley Goalkeeper Nick Pope. The Englishman has been very instrumental for Burnley ever since first choice keeper Tom Heaton got injured. He has managed to keep 10 clean sheets this season and the Englishman has even earned a call-up to the international side.

5. Petr Cech – Arsenal, 10 Clean Sheets

While many have criticised Cech’s form this season for the Gunners, he has still kept a number of clean sheets helping his team to sixth on the table.

2. Ederson – Manchester City, 14 Clean Sheets

The goalkeeper with the second most clean sheets this season is also, in my opinion, the second best goalkeeper in the league this season. Ederson arrived at Manchester City at the start of the 2017/18 season from Benfica for around £38m which made him the second most expensive goalkeeper of all time. Ederson, to his credit, has lived up to that price tag by performing exceptionally well. He has been the difference in the Manchester City defence this season compared to last where they rarely kept a clean sheet. Ederson is also very comfortable on the ball which is what Pep loves so much.

1. David De Gea-Manchester United, 15 clean sheets

Number 1 on our list of Goalkeepers with the most Clean Sheets this season is David De Gea. The Spaniard has the most clean sheets in the league so far with 15 and is also the best goalkeeper in the world right now in my opinion. De Gea has pulled off some amazing spiderman like dives to save his team from a sure goal. I don’t know how he has done some of the saves he managed this season but he has. Think back to the game against Arsenal when he made a record 14 saves in a single match. Incredible.
