It’s actually pretty tough to decide which player has flopped the most at Chelsea. There are two potential targets, Morata or Bakayoko. But we have decided to respect the total numbers of goals the Spaniard scored for the Blues, so he earned himself the second spot.
In summer 2017, Chelsea announced that they had agreed terms with Real Madrid for the transfer of Morata, for a reported club-record fee of around £60 million. After winning so many titles and awards with previous sides Juventus and Real Madrid, you would think he continue to flourish even in England.
Eventually, he ended up scoring 16 goals in 47 Premier League games, which for a player of his caliber is quite low.
