Peter Crouch is regarded as one of the most famous journeymen in the Premier League. The Englishman began his career with Tottenham in the late 1990s but was unable to break into the first team. He was sold to QPR later.
Nine years fast forward, the 6ft 7in striker returned to the White Hart Lane and scored 24 goals in 93 games, playing a pivotal part in helping Tottenham qualify for the Champions League.
Crouch also represented Liverpool for three years, netting an impressive 42 goals in 98 games for the Kop. However, Fernando Torres’ arrival in 2007 eventually saw him fall down the pecking order and move to former employers Portsmouth
